The Dean has also took the opportunity to express appreciation to CRJE (East Africa) Ltd, one of the key contractors involved in the construction and development of NIT’s engineering facilities.

“Through your professionalism, efficiency, and commitment to quality, CRJE has contributed significantly to the improvement of our campus infrastructure and the creation of a better learning environment for our students,” he said.

He also noted: “Events like today’s Chinese Culture Experience Day provide us with a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the richness of Chinese heritage—its art, cuisine, calligraphy, and tea culture—and at the same time, to recognize the values of harmony, diligence, and innovation that we can all learn from. These values are very much aligned with our own educational mission at NIT: to cultivate skilled, open-minded, and globally aware engineers for the future.”

He went on to say that cultural exchange complements technical cooperation. “When we learn to understand and respect each other’s traditions, we strengthen the foundation for long-term partnership—not only in infrastructure and education, but also in mutual growth and development.”

He concluded by saying: “Once again, I would like to thank CRJE and CRCEG for organizing this event and for their contribution to the progress of our institute and our country. Let us continue to work together to promote friendship, share knowledge, and build a better future for both of us.”
