Tangazo la kifo cha Mandela lilitolewa rasmi jana usiku [kwa saa za Afrika Kusini] na Rais wa nchi hiyo, Jacob Zuma akisema;

Although we knew that this day would come, nothing can diminish our sense of a profound and enduring loss, His tireless struggle for freedom earned him the respect of the world. His humility, his compassion and his humanity earned him their love”
TANGA RAHA inaungana na watu wote duniani katika kuomboleza msiba huu mkubwa.
Mandela alikuwa na atabia kuwa ishara au alama ya ushujaa,
amani,demokrasia na utumishi wa umma uliotukuka.Mungu ailaze roho yake
mahali pema peponi.
